Hunter's comment

Yep these guys have recycled 20 MILLION bottles to make their apparel brand. That's 2million fewer bottles that are going to end up in the ocean and that's pretty damn exciting if you ask me!

It seems they're also expanding into a fully fledged clothing line with shirts and base layers. Perfect for a Colorado based company to be catering to that snowboarder market while also using sustainable zero-waste processes.

(Also, on a personal note- I'd love one of those infinity scarves for the winter months!)

Another excelent and original hunt, I hope to have some of your experience.. Keep hunting.. As a lot I can learn from your hunting posts..

Hi @ dayleeo, really is more than useful technology and hunting.
When it is known how much time to decompose plastic packaging is need,
then especially is clearly aboute what sort this of clever waste management.

When getting and good products the picture is complete.
Great solution for garbage.

Good luck with hunting.

Hey @dayleeo, nice hunt. Flip flops made from sugar, snowboarder gear from plastic, urbangladiator couldn't be more right. Plastic is a massive problem and we dont seem to be consuming less of it. A university based in UK has found a way to disintegrate plastic. Finally there is way to deal with this plastic problem but innovations such as these will also help immensely in reducing plastic waste.

super cool @karamyog ! of course the number ONE way to reduce plastic is to quit our collective disposable mindsets! plastic is built to last forever which is why we have a hard time breaking it down in the first place, so lets reuse as much as we can before buying more right? :D thanks for the thoughtful comment !

Totally agree, reduce use and recycle, that's the way to go. In my opinion, there should be a total ban but govt will never go against big oil.

governments should do more of course @karamyog but at least we can support what we believe in with our dollars- consumerism is what makes plastic have such a demand, if we stopped buying i bet those companies would change REAL quick ;)

Agreed, I'm going to hunt something today that you'll appreciate i think.

This is incredible! You're definitely the most sustainable hunter in all the land!

daww i wouldn't say THAT- but thank you @urbangladiator <3 certainly try to hunt things that make the world a nicer place for us all to live in- what's the point of all this tech if we dont make it work to solve some big problems!

We need More stuff like this! Lets love our planet not destroy it.
Great hunt @dayleeo!
