Ever been to a party where everyone's trying to get their hands on the ipod or iphone playing the music so they can add their favorite track? Mixed takes care of that by allowing friends add tracks to a playlist from their own phones.

I know there are a few apps out there like this BUT this one was actually built by a student in the UK, and was the winner of the WWDC18 Scholarship! Super cool to see young folks getting their hands dirty and building stuff.

"With both Apple Music and Spotify integration, all of your friends will be able to join in, directly from their phones.

Please note that in order to host a party you require an Apple Music subscription, or a Spotify Premium account. However, the rest of the guests can freely search the library and add songs to the queue."-source*

I've got Spotify premium so I'm going to grab this now and see how it works- kinda cool if you could incorporate this into a live stream of podcast!

    Pros:

    • Friends, relatives, acquaintances, etc., can all add their favorite song to the current playlist to share with others.
    • Easy to use, just look for the song you want and add it to the community playlist.

    Cons:

    • It is necessary to have an account in Apple music and Spotify to use it

    Pros:

    • Great application especially for me who is so fond of music, wherein I always have the most number of songs requested since I am familiar with lots of songs and very fast to suggest, by this application, my friends can now have their songs being collaboratively added into a playlist thanks to Mixed.
    • Free application and available only for iOS devices, which is great for people like me who uses an iOS device.

    Cons:

    • None for this amazing application.
    • Must be a subscriber to Apple Music or either way around must have a premium account in Spotify, maybe a no-no to someone.

    Anyways a great hunt @dayleeo, amazing to read its made by a student, such a remarkable and smart kid!
