Well done on this hunt, the usefulness of this will be so great in the Caribbean where I'm from. It gets brutalised by hurricanes almost every year.
One of the major things that get destroyed during a hurricane is the power lines (apart from your roofing). After the hurricane passes, these devices will shine so bright you'll need shades. :)
Yes absolutely, its useful in any natural disaster, as most power infrastructure is destroyed during such cases.
