In an era when all our internet habits are constantly being tracked it is often difficult to maintain a degree of privacy. Without knowing, most websites drop cookies, beacons, and even fingerprint your device often resulting in the ability to track you across devices and platforms. Some websites even track the behavior of not logged in users.
The team of the DuckDuckGo search engine, the search engine which doesn’t track you, has released the DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser to protect your mobile privacy. You may think you are on a safe website but often the website may still be running Google Anaylitics, sending data to Google, or the website operator may make use of Facebook’s Pixel which allows them to monitor advertising campaigns - and gives Facebook info about your browsing habits.
The DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser blocks all those trackers, without need for external third party (ad) blockers which may or may not perform properly. Or like some ad blockers do, who may nevertheless be funded by the advertising industry, and sell your data nevertheless.
With the DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser you don’t have to worry about all these backhanded practices as the browser automatically prevents those trackers to load and upgrades your privacy with each site you visit.

Agree with the con. Especially when using an external keyboard it still needs work to optimize for that. It makes Google Chrome for iOS look like a dream when using external keyboard.
As for search results, DDG is workable but not yet for people who rely on multiple advanced search queries each day. Then it’s still off to google unless you know the operators to paunch platform specific search engines from the DDG search.

DDG SERPs are still reminiscent of Google SERPs in 2013 LOL. But hey have Bangs! which allow you to search tons of sites directly from DDG.
Often at the cost of your privacy tho. Unless used within DDG browser.
