It's not just about sunburns. UV rays can also contribute to causing cancer. Here is a list of harmful effects listed by US Environmental Protection Agency:
- Skin cancer (melanoma and nonmelanoma)
- Premature aging and other skin damage
- Cataracts and other eye damage
- Immune system suppression
