It's a nice idea to have those, I'd use them for my parents and grandparents to avoid having them to clean the stairs or even slide and get hurt in the process. The price is a little bit high, not sure if for ~50$ you get only 1 piece or more, but still it's a great add to the house.
If you work in the hard conditions of winter, it will be perfect and you will be saved from going over the stairs. The melting speed at the time is not bad.
It can be very difficult to get out of the stairs in the winter and get out. When it is snowing, this product will melt our profit and prevent us from falling.
