Hive is a new blockchain that has been forked out of existing Steem blockchain. The core idea behind is to provide a true decentralized platform where everyone has the stakes and no one is owner.
I think its a brilliant initiative for the people who value freedom from censorship, and like freedom speech and thoughts.

I hope Justin backs down, and there is no significant fork, but if there is I do wish @steemhunt joins Hive in the future, or maybe runs and rewards users on both chains. Promises from Justin of a more business friendly future, attracting investment, or getting exchange listings are not worth doing business with a known bad actor.

I also wish that Steemhunt joins the Hive blockchain but to me on account of following reasons it seems unlikely.
SH has 300k delegated Steem from misterdelegation. SH has 167k Steem. So to make it attractive to Hunters it needs Hive delegations. Given the previous status of whales it seems unlikely that Hive whales will extend hands with open heart. They only like long boring content whether it carries value or not. Less content with more value is less important to many of them.
With the huge success of Review Hunt and size of Hunt team has to cover ever increasing influx of Review Hunters. RH has become new focus and that should be focused given its transparency and reach to potential users.
Now the primary focus is on RH, SH has become secondary. When HUNT is gaining value and listing to new exchanges, it will be unwise to spend on Steem or Hive. They will focus on growing Hunt economy.

Too me it's really confusing after the fork we have two blockchains/platforms with almost same CODE (HIVE and STEEM) don't know where to go but i think by supporting & joining HIVE we able to make some free crypto in shape of HIVE COINS which'll be airdropped to all accounts in ratio of 1:1 & that's great for all content creators.
But the biggest concern is justinsun's 70M steem if he dump all that steem after or before this fork then i think it'll be all over for steem but i don't think he going to do this & if he is serious with steem blockchain then he definitely going to pump the steem. Let see what happens next. Nice Hunting though
The best thing to happen is that this drama is going to end soon. Everyone will resume normal activities.
I just heard this new blockchain arriving which is similar to steemit but token is different.

Hive will put an end to the malardy of Justin. I hope that this guy will not take life out of steem block chain . Anyway, we welcome Hive.
