"Elliot for water" is a new search engine, that helps you to bring safe drinking water to everyone in the developing countries by doing a simple web search. It is very simple, go to the "Elliot for water" website and starting doing your normal search. The search results are powered by Bing. Whenever you click on the sponsored results, 60% of their profits will go to this clean water project. Everyone wants to contribute to some cause. But it is not easier for all of us because of our lifestyle. But these kinds of initiative helps to contribute to the community.

This is true capitalism at work. Bing is the second biggest search engine behind Google and many times I've found it to be better than Google (Then I discovered DuckDuckGo) So the search results themselves are going o be very good.
60% of the profits will contribute to buy Solwa Technologies, solar energy based products that purify dirty or polluted water through desalination. Only air is more needed and essential than water. Clean water is a basic human need.

A basic and simple tactic to get more traffic in their page and get rewarded. But here they are doing it for a cause and we should respect that cause and support their project to get safe and clean water.
I wish such projects could start at poor and needy countries so that they could get the clean water and also get their lives long as compared to present one.

The traffic will help sustain the project, considering google that have all the traffic though they do their own humanitarian project with their brand but with this everyone that use this search engine,have a sense of belonging to this project
Drinking clean water is the right of every human being but unfortunately billions are deprived of drinking clean water. This is indeed a great project for humanity. I would love to use and will recommend my friends to use search engine as it will be a source of smiles of billion. Great hunt
I quite like the idea. Personally, i have never clicked on sponsored results. Simply because they look useless almost everytime. But may be with this, people will click on sponsored searches a bit more. Then their is acceptability. Google search is just better. So i dont know how good their search algorithm is and a charitable cause alone will not drive their primary business. Still like the idea.
Edit: sorry just saw its powered by bing. Not a fan but my latter point is not relevant.
Is another great one tool, I've ever seen on sh about another project of search engine that helps for plan tree, I am forget about the name. For every search we donate for tree planting project.
