What is it?
WayAround is the app for your smart device that provides on-demand details about everyday things. The simple tag-and-scan approach lets you quickly and easily identify things around you. It also provides extra details, like how something works or when it expires.
So, just by attaching a special "Tag", then giving all the data needed, you can find out what's inside at any time.
This doesn't use the camera
Because scanning does not require a camera, but uses vibrations, this application is also very suitable for people who cannot see / decrease their vision.
Uses Cases
You can use it almost on anything, kitchen, closet, office, bathroom, etc. It will make your life easier.

First of all, I must say, you have a great track record of finding out so many great products. On this particular one, it still needs tagging the WayTags first time into anything and then scan that to the app. Only next time onward the app can find the details. However, a dollar for each WayTag feels little higher to me, even though they say its affordable. But still a great hope for visually challenged people, because if someone can tag all things around them and scan, then they can find those themselves.
Excellent app you shared @calprut, it brought more confidence in our daily life and be alert to us every time, no doubt "WayAround" make our life much easier.
The use cases look promising for the app, doing more with the less.
