This is some serious usage of the 3D printing technology. A whole house. It is quite a something. It can bring the cost down by quite a lot. The thing is with those additional element like insulation etc. Still need those, and if they are added after the point of 3D printing is lost.
I can't believe this wasn't featured before. This is a great project and utilizes less man power. I've seen this before but it never ceases to amaze me. Great hunt!
Construction is everywhere and there is a need of housing all over.
With this concrete printer we can speed up house building in an industry where human labor is scarce. I would surely love to start a business with this!
The 3D-concrete printer is really awesome for architecture to create the beautiful design of a house. I have seen this house is wonderfully presented with concrete. It would be great to buy this house.
This is so amazing - that we've come so far in 3D printing that we can already print/build on this scale.
I'm hoping the next step in this tech is to push towards environmentally friendly 3D printing at this scale, so we can build eco-friendly housing quickly and easily. That will be a game-changer.
But can you imagine how fast they'll be able to build houses in 5 or 10 years time, if this is possible today? And there's nothing to stop this tech being combined with other materials, so it's part-3D printed.
It really is exciting, and the possibilities in architecture are only limited by our imaginations. Thanks for the great hunt!
WOW, how cool! I love 3d printing and the fact it can print entire houses! In the future this technology will allow many of use without a home, to get a relatively inexpensive one. That in itself is a GREAT outcome of this printing invention. These houses you bring to us, is an example it allows to create designers objects as well. I actually know about this project and great to see this now coming to SteemHunt!
