Bionic prostheses help to successfully use things such as a spoon, a fork, a pen, etc.
A myocontrol system (which reads electrical pulses from the muscles) is used to read the electrical potential produced by the muscles during contraction and then transmits it to the microprocessor that processes the signal and causes the prosthesis to move.
Product characteristics:
• Strength at the tip of the finger up to 15 N (for a multifunctional prosthesis with an individual finger unit);
• Total effort of up to 150 N (for a prosthesis of low functionality with a type of grip);
• The grip speed is proportionally controlled by the user from 0.5 to 5 s;
• The activity time (the execution of capture without interruption, with alternation) 36 hours;
• Number of gestures / closures up to 14;
• The wrist module weighs up to 500 grams, the total weight of the bionic prosthesis of the forearm with battery is from 1 to 1.6 kg (equivalent to the weight of the lost limb to restore balance);
• The size of the wrist is similar to the average wrist size of an adult;
• The width of the palm is approximately 80 mm, the mounting flange of the wrist is round or oval with passive rotation;
• Full charge time: 2 hours;
• 1 year warranty.
