This vehicle designed specifically for peoples who are confined to a wheel chair. The user gains entry to vehicle through either door in addition the seats slides left or right and can raise or lower to enable easier entry.
The wheelchair is then lifted using a power door and stored in the back area of a car. The driver seat is positioned in the center of a car while still allowing room for a second seat if needed.
Control is maintained through the use of joysticks on the arm rests which replaces the usual pedals and steering wheel.
Toyota's UEAI is incorporated into the vehicle interacting with driver as well as monitoring the cars functions.
The full electric car has a range of upto 95 miles on a single charge making it great for use in Urban environment.

I think Toyota I-Road is really cool, but " technically there's a back seat I guess, although no one could sit back there it's really funny and At low speed, the back tire turns" Dude... at ALL speeds the back tire turns. The lean angle is dependent on speed because of, well, gravity and centrifugal force but it's a rear steering vehicle.

The super easy solution for disables peoples. I really appreciate this technology, very helpful electric car for disabled patients. Now that patients confidently survive in this world by using this electric car for move out there.
This car looks really cool. It provides a solution for disabled people to be able to drive a car easily. Powered by electricity, they don't need to go to Petrol Station. As we know it is designed for travel in the city, but Toyata should develop it to be able to drive in rural areas too. I hope its price can be reached for all disabled people.
It is perfect for wheelchair users to be able to reach easily. I've seen such a car once before on this platform, but it's pretty sophisticated and pretty high-end with it. In the future I hope we can see in traffic. AWESOME HUNT!
I love about technology where give the same opportunity to everyone, this really incredible vehicle for disabilities people. Electric vehicles that facilitate their movement, with a joystick for controlled.
Amazing and wonderful innovation from Japan. Toyota is known for their quality and durable vehicles. So I'm sure this one isn't just some theatricals. I wish the car could accommodate more people so that the disabled can feel even prouder driving people (specially family and children) around. 95 miles on a single charge is pretty good. I hope there is fast charging included.

I remember some years ago I saw a woman in a wheel chair to enter in her car by herself then someone helped entering the chair in the car but then I saw her going alone, I saw her many times at the mall parking and never got any idea how she did to drive🤔 I did saw her driving!🚘 I love this design and the possibilities that brings to disabled people feeling included is the best feeling, and also is electric ecofriendly!🍃 Very nice hunt!
