Personal Verdict
There are few reasons why I choose this iPhone over the iPhone X and all other android phones out there in the market, some may agree and some may disagree with me but it's up to your preference.
I'm been using iPhone 4 back in my college days and jumping up to iPhone 8 Plus is a leap of upgrades for me after I tried an Android phone for 2 years which is Xiao Mi3W.
iOS, the operating system somewhat brings out the simplicity of using this phone and even with the hardware which wasn't that great in term of comparison head to head with an Android phone, the software manages to mitigate it a lot and RAM management is super great!
I know a lot of users will say the price wasn't able to justify the hardware specification given on an iPhone but you need to really think how Apple is heavily invested onto their OSes to give the user the convenience, power and simplicity in their ecosystem.
Imagine iPhone currently equipped with an Android hardware with its iOS, that's gonna be an overkilled smartphone.
Finally, why iPhone 8 Plus and not iPhone X? As iPhone X is the 1st Generation new product of Apple featuring their Face ID technology which will be bound to have flaw and imperfection, and both are using the same powerful processor but the price is a difference of RM 1000 (64GB)
