It is a blockchain powered group chat app so it is secure and decentralized app. All the user data is fully in the user's control and you don't need to worry about your privacy unlike other social media websites.
Timski is a decentralized group chat app powered by Blockstack. The app is a thin client built on top of Blockstack's distributed architecture that empowers each individual to configure his/her own storage after registering for a Blockstack ID. The app publishes and retrieves each individual's chat messages from his/her own cloud-based storage.

I have read the explanation from the Timski Maker from Here.
My conclussion is : this app let s control everything that we have (privacy, etc). So, 100% guarantee for safety because we manage on our social storage.
By the way, i invite him to make some more explanation here, because i need to know more about how the p2p transaction is working on his App.

With all the news coming forward these days you can really see how big social medias like Facebook is handling there data and let other big companies just read stuff and sell them data despite they tell us we have the power over our data. With a porject like this, this problem will not be able to occure anymore.
I'm still waiting for that time when all the centralised apps like Facebook, twitter and co would be phased out by decentralised apps such as this. This is a good one to start with

Now coming to the serious point This is very protective app and we can secure our chat and data by using this app it is not like the other social app like facebook , twitter and whatsapp. Because the owner of these social social media platforms has the authority to excess the data of the user specially Facebook.
Privacy and security are a couple of most important features of decentralized blockchain networks. Timski is another excellent example of decentralized blockchain basic ideology.
Even though it has a centralized server, but the sole purpose of that server is to keep track of who is inviting whom. Other than that everything is user controlled and, ... I am happy with that.
"Timski" is amazing and cool tool used chatting which is powered by Blockstack we can also called it decentralized app which is fully secured and no any issue about our privacy so enjoy it. @aamirijaz really nice finding to share.
I never heard of Blockstack before but this decentralized Messenger sounds very cool. Probably like most Blockchain projects this product lacks of an intuitive Userinterface and wide adoption by the community. But if it becomes successful I can see huge potential for an encrypted messenger that is powered by Blockchain.

More and more decentralized apps are coming out these days due to its more secured feature wherein user credentials are not store somewhere beyond the user's control. This Timski chat app is a good example of that. However, my question would be regarding the security of chat messages. I wonder if how secure is the tunnel being used. Or are messages being encrypted? Maybe... Either way, this app is still great for its decentralized feature.
