I worked on a research proposal which was quite similar to the working principle of this device. My project was about the drip irrigation system, the main goal was to provide water to plants exactly at that time when they need it. There were small drips used to shower water on the plants. This way, the plants' growth is much more than the ordinary watering system. Also, it saves water too which is necessary. Now, this smart watering technology should be installed at a high level so the waste of water could be controlled and it could also help in the growth of the plants.
