eBooks Back to School Coupon BTSBOOK%SALEcp

A number of months ago, I had an idea where the STEEM blockchain could be used for educational purposes. Educators could put their lectures, or articles on steemit.com and be paid for their content but then it would be freely accessible to students world wide. Unfortunately there is a 7 day limit where an individual post might be curated. So I started working on a project where people could host the work of others. This is very similar to the idea of a publication which accepts contributions from "reporters" or periodicals which accepts papers to be peer reviewed.

The first step was to create a few pages which moved toward this mark. The first page was obviously a page which featured the "host's" own content. The second page allows the host to select contributors/collaborators to appear on the site. The third allows the host to go off blockchain, and to add content from other sites or from non contributors on the steem blockchain.

The next step was to incorporate the ability of creating advertisements. Putting an advertisement within your posts like I did at the top probably breaks a rule or is at least isn't de rigueur. There is no specific benefit to a reader of your post if they are not interested in ebooks. However seeing a similar advertisement on steemhost rewards them with steem power delegation. I have so far earned $1.84 on a similar advertisement but it only cost $1.57 for placing the advertisement on steemhost. Keep in mind that the host was rewarded 0.23 steem power delegation (equivalent of $0.53 right now) and the visitor received the same. While I cannot predict what the return will be in the future, this could be something people would want to monitor.

Having this mechanism in place we are now working on the next step of the process: a dividend for the hosts. While we have only been active for less than a month, the site has earned 0.597 SBD. I haven't determined how frequently to allocate this (probably quarterly) nor how it will be allocated. Instead of an even distribution, there will need to be a function to factor in the value of advertisements, number of visitors to the hosted site, and the number of visits that a person makes to the site. There is also the concern that it costs 10 sbd to

I am open to suggestions.

I'd like to see this compared to daily user rates. Do search trends necessarily equate to how many people are using them--or maybe they equate to how many people sign up in a given month (or whatever) instead? I wonder. It definitely seems like Facebook is on the out (fingers crossed) and maybe Snapchat too, but I wouldn't have thought Twitter was also on the potential decline.

We run daily reports and they are posted on the steemhost01 site. The report that is of most interest hasn't been turned on yet but the number of visitors who were rewarded were 28. I am happy with the number of hosts for now because because I want their sites to look professional etc. The site is set up so mentors can assist others in the design of their sites. This is way that hosts with a can earn money ... by setting up and maintaining a site for corporate accounts. We actually have one host doing this already.
This site is an example of this. The mentor charges $50 per year for this.
