So far, in my time on steemit, most of my interaction with other steemians has been through the comments on other people's posts and replies to comments on my posts. I haven't tried steemit chat yet, I'm not very good at using chat because I type pretty slowly and I can't keep up with the conversations. I probably should check it out anyway.
