Fathers play salient role but remain silent

May 6th, 2018 was celebrated as "Father's day". Unfortunately, unlike Mother's day, the celebration was on a very low key.
There wasn't any celebration in most places besides, some person(s) never knew it was a day dedicated to celebrating Fathers globally.
I couldn't make a post that day due to some network issues and some other factors.

Fathers play pertinent roles in our lives. They are just so zealous and ever sacrificial to all humans in their lives.
Fathers are domineering forces in executing projects in not just his immediate/nuclear family.
A Father provides for his wife, children, Aged parents, wife's family members too.

Often times, in unpleasant situations you will hear people say things like

Be a Man

I pondered on this so much and wondered why I should "Be a Man" in such situations.
The "Man" figure is maybe seen as that which holds multitasking role as a Father, Protector, Advisor, Guardian and Comforter.

He comforts his family and friends but is left to bear the pain without any tears.
He protects his family but remains susceptible to ills from the outside world.
He sacrifices his happiness for his Children's wellness and happy moments.*

A Father toils daily to feed the family, and yet tolerate his wife's nagging, quarrels and insults.
He hides his sadness but reveals his family's happiness to the world.
Fathers even on Father's days are rarely celebrated.
Fathers are special humans created by God to stand as pillars to their family's.
Fathers withstand destructive criticisms but are very open to constructive criticisms.

I am not a Father yet, but I consistently admire Fathers who play their fatherly role constantly and seek measures towards improving their family members.
It will be grossly unfair If I fail to celebrate some Fathers on Steem whose role I appreciate and learning from.

@papa-pepper is one Steemian whose fatherly role to his Children @little-peppers and his wife @mama-pepper has been inspiring to me.
I love how he featured his children in his homesteading thus, equipping them with inherent skills as young people.

He never seem to give up on his flair for Crypto

@nanzo-scoop is truly inspiring to young people with his constant flair and practice in body building

I celebrate @surpassinggoogle who has played a fatherly role to struggling minnows consistently.
