LIFE'S PURPOSE: We Were Not Just Created To Exist. This is my entry into @onstellar Paranormal Contest.

I've found myself in this natural contraption called Universe, constructed by a Supernatural Being no one seems to know of His genesis talk more of His end, nursed by a woman who happens to be my mother, how it happened, I can't tell.

I seem to have found inner peace in the comforting arms of this particular windy night. Some say the nights are full of terror and dread, but this one was friendly. It's skin smoothening breeze has presented me another opportunity to wrap my thoughts round the orbits of Life, and question the relevance of Human Existence.

Sometimes, I traverse in thought wondering whether the universe was really expectant of my arrival. Was there ever a problem the unseen forces of nature wanted me to solve, or am I just one of those offsprings that are mere byproducts of intercourse?

This somehow sounds rhetorical(I don't know), but whichever way, at least I deserve to ruminate why am even in existence. Why 'am not a ruminant animal with a tail mowing grasses on the lawn, but in a human Form with a Brain capable of thinking out possible solutions and recreating something out of something else.

Does Everyone Share Mutual View On What Is The Purpose of Life?

First, before I take a dive into the water of my thesis, it's worth mentioning that this subject is a Subjective one, and the writer's view is in no way a reflection of a perfect thought, neither is it the view of any race or group etc.

This is because, the purpose of Life differs from persons to persons. What is Life's purpose of a Religious Man may not possibly be same with that of a Materialist.

The Religious man believes that the crux or purpose of life is to please His God whom He looks forward to seeing in After-life, and any other Purpose apart from that which is in conformity with this, is a purposeless Life.

"If there is no God, then man and the universe are doomed. Like prisoners condemned to death, we await our unavoidable execution. There is no God, and there is no immortality. And what is the consequence of this? It means that life itself is absurd. It means that the life we have is without ultimate significance, value, or purpose. ___ William Lane Craig

Now, that's not what the materialists see as Life's purpose. Materialism can refer either to the simple preoccupation with the material world, as opposed to intellectual or spiritual concepts, or to the theory that physical matter is all there is.

This theory is far more than a simple focus on material possessions. It states that everything in the universe is matter, without any true spiritual or intellectual existence.

Materialism can also refer to a doctrine that material success and progress are the highest values in life. This doctrine appears to be prevalent in western society today.

For this set of individuals, the purpose of existence is measured by acquisition of those things which are tangible. They deal with the physical world (matter), wealth and to be a able to afford whatever one wants. For them, one may not have lived a purposeful Life without acquiring these matter. It's just a matter of philosophy and creed.

So The Big Question That Keeps begging For An Answer is: WHAT THEN IS THE PURPOSE OF LIFE?

After embarking on a voyage of mental discovery to unravel the purpose of life and the relevance of human existence, am left with no further dissenting view that the ultimate purpose of life is to make positive IMPACT in the world.

Perhaps a consciousness that no matter where one finds him or herself, one leaves that place better than he met it, because there is always something we can do to make the world or our society a better place.

Often, we allow the fact that we will die someday to inhibit our drive to make impact In the world, even when we have what it takes.

We are frightfully concerned with our own deaths, sometimes so much so that we forget the real purpose of our lives ----Brian L. Weiss.

At the end, our religion or material possessions will be of little or no use if we didn’t solve any problem in the world, that’s the purpose of life. Nature has designed the world in such a way that man will have to set his creativity in motion in order to decode means to make his survival easier.

Hey, wait… I never said you must be another ALBERT EINSTEIN before you can make a print on the sands of time. There is certainly a reason why all humans where not created the same day, that’s because we are meant to solve different problems at different times and era. That’s why we have different talents and gifts, different IQ from other animals as well.

It does not matter how long you are spending on the earth, how much money you have gathered or how much attention you have received. It is the amount of positive vibration you have radiated in life that matters----Amit Ray.

One doesn't even need to be as old as Methuselah before he can make an impact, solve a problem or create something new for humanity. #Alexander-the-great and #Jesus never lived long, yet they left the world achieving their life purpose.

AT THE END, OUR POSITIVE IMPACT IN THE SOCIETY DETERMINES IF WE LIVED A PURPOSEFUL LIFE.

I was trying to explain to some one just the other day my view on purpose. I feel it's like a house with so many roads leading to it and off it as well. We often confuse career with purpose. For me we only give purpose when we actually help everyone we come across live a better life. Great post Bro.

Yah...
Giving a ladder to people to climb, helping fellow humans and the entire ecosystem, that's just it.

Thanks for stopping by bro...
I really appreciate.

I should be thanking you for putting this out. Good work bro

Hehehe, @idunique, I like the fact that you philosophize, thats some cool stuff.

But I think your answer doesn't answer the question fully, it answers it only in part, because if the purpose of life is simply to make positive impact then it means everyone's purpose is to make positive impact and if everyone is to make positive impact then we can say the positive impacts are meant for the good of the whole world and for the good of life. If there was no life there will be no need for positive impact in the world in the first place, so life now looks like a system that is to feed on positive impacts for it to grow; the question that then arises is what is the purpose of life's growth? To what end? We should all make life cool for each other by making positive impacts, I agree, but to what end? After we feed on the positive impact and we all grow, whats next? Is our purpose just to feed on positive impacts?

😁😁

Hahahaha...
Indeed, we all know that our existence on earth is a fleeting one, hence we all gonna die.

It suffices to say that, once we have made our positive impact as we ought to, then the end will come to crown us, and that's death.

Yet at the other side, we will merry for our soul will look back to reexamine our tour on earth.

Thanks a lot @nevies for stopping by, I really appreciate your observations.

Beautiful analysis. Let's be impatcful. :)
