Modesty is and will always be an excellent virtue to cultivate and desire but let it be know that extremity is a vice. There is always a place for balancing everything we do, basically to avoid making that a vice.
Your productivity in life is predictable and they are always being predictable upon the habits and the habitat you build or cultivate as you consciously or unconsciously ride the earth every passing day.
Habitat is all encompassing but most particularly your friends, the circle of friends you build around your life. Furthermore, I prefer to be more concerned with your habits than in your habitat even though it is those habitat that moulds your habits either without your permission but most often with your permission.

Today in my country marks the beginning of the month of May, you may be ahead of us here time-wise or you're still behind your time zone. I like to say a HAPPY NEW MONTH to your wheresoever you are right (wise you to wise me back).
The habits you have built in months that precides this will principally determine the results you will realize at the end of the month, because of this knowledge, I came to gist us about one of the very controversial topic #SLEEP.
Sleep has been one of the topic many have tried to tailor many theories about based on what they feel works for them from antiquity. Now you're asking what my opinion is? Below.

Your success in life is not dependent on the number of hours you sleep at night but mostly dependent on what you do with your time while you're awake

Now, I hope those lines are doubt dissolving and direction giving? That is just my opinion and I am entitled to it.

You may want to follow what medical science has recommended that the ideal hours to sleep in a day should be at least 8 hours. Contrary to this, we have heard that most of the very successful people on earth and the very influential leaders of our time barely sleep up-to 4 hours in n a day and all of these keep provoking thoughts in our head.

King Solomon David Jesse, that ruled Israel in 980BC as recorded in the Bible stated very profoundly in Proverbs 20:13 and I quote;

Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty.

This man became a king at age 20 and he reigned for 40 years, which I feel that was good enough to call him a success. He implied that lovers of sleep are guaranteed to become poor but this again is not rallying with medical science.
Sleeping because it is night stopped being my practice for many years now and it has been a good lifestyle for me which has sporadically affected my level of productivity for good.

Sleep is a most because of the health benefits it bring to us and to be very frank with myself right now, I must be healthy. The evil come when you start making sleep a priority and making sleep a major part of your plan for the day.
J like you to know that if you spend 2 hours in the afternoon to observe siesta and spend 10pm to 6am in the night to sleep then you might have end up sleeping for 10 hours out of 24 hours in a day, furthermore, this will mean you sleeping 156 days out of 356day you have in a year. Now, this is a serious crime according to me.

It is time to start building the right set of habits this new month and keep to them because these are what will determine what you get at the end of time.

What you become in life is not determined by the hours you sleep in a day but what you do while you're awake.

Lol this is so true i observed that the amount of hours i slept daily made me very unproductive , i'm still working on changing that pattern thank you very much for this article.

It is not about how long you sleep. It is what you do while you are awake

Even though it is good to be up and running , we should also strive to eliminate things that keep us from doing what we are meant to do while awake
