Progress on my Steem Web App - Update #2
SteemFunds Site Update
I'm continuing to work on my site that is meant to bring our steem community to a larger audience. I'm mostly pleased with the look of the site but I'm most likely going to scrap it all and start again. I've been testing out different plugins to get the functionality I'm looking for. Some are good and some not so much. I feel like I need a clean slate and there isn't much but filler content on the site now.
The plan is to provide sites like steemfunds to other steemians where they can run their own funding campaigns and show off their work.
Community is a need
My steemit experience has been greatly enhanced by connecting with communities on Discord. Check out the links below for some of my favorites. Thanks @baa.steemit for my first footer banner. Almost every plugin I installed left something behind. Also I decided I want my multi site to be sub domains instead of folders. I think that requires starting over at this point. I actually love the look of the site.
I might need to look at php again and learn how to make my own plugins. They are not all coded with best practices and some don’t fit the look of the site. I had a perfect theme with bundled plugins but it had non-standard English and terrible typos mixed into the plugins.
