Franco's Take Away - Ballivor, County Meath - Ireland

While I was staying with @cneck in Ballivor, Ireland, we went to the local chipper for a quick take-out dinner. The place was called Franco's Take Away and it was just a short walk around the corner from his house. The photo above is the exterior of the building and the photo below is what the inside looks like. There are no seats, because it is a Take Away restaurant. There is however, a gambling machine in the corner so you can lose your money while you wait for your food.
I ordered the Fish and Chips which came with fried cod and a side of garlic cheese chips (fries). The fish was a bit under par and not as crispy as I would prefer. The cheesy garlic chips were absolutely smothered in a garlic sauce and melted cheese, not exactly what I was expecting when I ordered, but it was solid. I dipped them in a curry sauce that @cneck ordered and it was flavorful, although once again not as crispy as I would like.
@cneck ordered a pepperoni pizza to split with his family. I tried a slice and it was actually pretty good. Not quite like the pizza I have at home (spoiled near the Pizza Capital of the World), but it got the job done. Overall, Franco's is definitely not the best... but if you're hungry in Ballivor, you don't have many other better options!
