18 APRIL 2018, today I brought my beloved mom and dad to this Chinese restaurant serving fujian province cuisine. This is not the first time I have been here, I have been a satisfied returning customer for some time now. As for that being said, I believe this is a must try restaurant if any of you are having a visit here.

seaweed soup

Using seaweed as main ingredient you may think it's very light taste, but not for this dish. The seaweed flavour was complemented by the fried garlic flavour. This dish is for a pax. This costed 10.30myr (2.6USD).

Ca fen

This is my mom favourite dish! Ca fen is a name of a noodle, it's way thinner then vercimili like tread. This is no ordinary noodle, it's doesn't have chewiness like pasta,it's soft and smooth. The flavour is a big hit! The crazily savoury taste and flavour of clam work so well with the noodles. We ordered the extra small for this dish and it costed 14 MYR (3.6 USD).

mee sua

Once more mee sua is a type of noodle, slightly thicker compared to vercimili. This noodles is same as the above only different is its thicker. As for the soup, it's also the same. What is different is the ingredients added, such as prawn, mussels, roasted pork belly, bak choi , peanut, mushrooms, seaweed, bean curd skin, and sugar snap pea. All those ingredients contributed to the dish well. For this dish we ordered the s size with the cost of 20.66 MYR ( 5.3 USD ).

stir fried yam

Ok this is some thing new to me. It's like the eastern version of fries but better. It's flavour is much more interesting. With the sugar coating on the surface, when stir fried it creates a sweet crust. Now this is a extra small portion which costed 13.11MYR ( 3.4 USD).

salted egg , century egg spinach

I can safely say that this will be a big hit for the Asian people, however I cannot say the same for westerner. Salted egg and century egg both Asian most loved ingredients. When I met many westerner who say it's funky.its like how Asian hates funky cheese but opposite for most westerners. One thing I can say for this dish " I didn't know vegetables can taste so savoury ". Once more this is a small portion and it costed 20.66MYR (5.3 USD).

In conclusion, this restaurant still earn their spot in my heart. Food are all excellent, quality and service is great. It's pretty rare I return to a restaurant so many time, so trust me it's really that good. However not the same I can say for the price, for 3pax it costed a total of 78.79MYR (20.20 USD) which is really expensive for a meal with mostly carbohydrates. But once more it's really delicious, and I encourage all to try this restaurant. Oh yea and one more thing, this standard is given for this specific branch. I have been told other branches don't stand up to this .
