2nd MAY 2018, in Malaysia there is a few things about food here that is great about. Apart from being bold in flavour, we also have a large diversity of food. The best thing is that it's not mediocre at all including you are in the right one. As that being said, today I have dine in a restaurant that serves western, Portuguese, nyonya restaurant and this is what we ordered.

RENDANG CLAYPOT BEEF

Love how generous the beef is, largely cut cubes of beef!! A strong hit of spice while not being to spicy. Oh, and those who don't know what rendang is it's a popular Malaysian dish that uses whole lots of spices, and herbs and then braised for a long time to make the meat tender while developing the flavour of the dish.

MUTTON DRY CURRY

Like the beef, they were very generous with the mutton too. I would say this curry is kinda a let down of me. However, don't get discouraged to try this, the reason I said it's a let down because it's kinda mild of my preference. The curry flavour was not strong enough and also not very spicy, the meat on the other hand is acceptablely tender.

PORK LEG STEW

This pork stew was braised with potatoes, broccoli, mushrooms and served with a side of garlic bread. I love how the vegetable contributes a nice sweetness to the stew, and the potatoes that helps thicken the stew. I find the vegetable very delicious as it tends to cling with the sauce. Pork leg, nice and tender! The sauce was also delicious, it taste kinda like a mushroom soup flavoured with a little sesame oil.

AUSTRALIAN STICKY PORK RIBS

Hmmm, where should I start. There are negative and positive in this dish. Let's start with the bad, I find the sauce kinda flavourless and unappealing. The sauce was split, oil was separated from the roux. And now for the good, meat tender fall off the bone, very nice meat to fat ratio and quite porky flavour ( some may hate it). It's served with steamed corn, mashed potato, and roasted capsicums and carrots. It came with 2 sauces, the bbq black pepper and mushroom sauce, both of them taste the same just one with a strong black pepper kick!

PIZZA DEVIL'S CURRY

It's layered with curried minced meat and a thick layer of mozzarella. The crust could do better, it was thin, crispy at the bottom.

5/5 for stretchy cheese!!

CHOCOLATE MOLTEN LAVA CAKE

This cake is served with vanilla ice cream, the lava cake is rich and, velvet in the inside. There was a nice crusty outer layer too.

FINAL THOUGHS

There are so many food to try, I would recommend having a party here as you can order more dishes to share and also there is something for everyone. Despite being cheap, they do provide large portion and pretty tasty food. I would advice anyone to come here either on a weekday night or on the weekend due to lack of car park space that is if you are driving.
