SteemFest³ - Opening Drinks
It´s finally time to share the Steemfest moments with you!
This year I attended the Steemfest in Krakow, Poland with my team from @APPICS. We flew out to Krakow to meet Steemians from all around the world. The tickets were a little bit more expensive this year so I didn´t expect to see a lot of them, to be honest. In the middle of our journey to Poland, we joined the Steemfest Telegram channel where everyone posted from their arrival at the airport so we joined the challenge and announced that team APPICS had arrived!
Before the night of opening drinks started, @mrs.steemit @agent and I made a quick stop at the Qubus Hotel to get our tickets. I was so wrong by thinking that people from overseas might not come become of the high costs. So many Steemians were already waiting in the lobby and couldn´t wait to meet the rest. People came over asking me if I was soldier. So crazy to realize that people actually know who I am. I started in 2016 as a nobody on Steemit. Now almost everyone knew who I was.

After the short meetup we went back to our apartment which was close to the Qubus Hotel. We checked-in, went to a traditional polish restaurant and got ready for the night of opening drinks!
Short after the arrival we met familiar faces. It was so refreshing to meet up with some lovely souls that we met last year. You can probably tell by the video that we had much to talk about. But I have to say that so many new Steemians joined the event this time. People I haven´t seen before and my expectations were completely wrong. So many people from the USA, Canada , Australia, Japan and Korea! They came all the way to Krakow just to attend the Steemfest. I felt really comfortable because even if we didn´t know each other before, we still shared the same passion for crypto and blogging.
After some hours of non-stop talking and getting to know each other, we went back to our apartment to get some rest and prepare for the first conference day.
