Choose your music for SteemFest!(Day 2/20)

Yesterday, in this post, we started our 20 day journey of creating the best music selection for #SteemFest in Amsterdam.

The response was fantastic! Many of you really liked the idea, but we need more than just upvotes for the post. In fact, the rewards aren’t even on our mind.

What we really want is more. More, more, more!

The real scope of this initiative is to select the music for what’s gonna be a bangin’ party the Saturday night of #SteemFest. But we can’t do it without your music suggestions!

There’s only 19 days left to create the best party track list for #SteemFest. Let’s get everyone suggesting tracks and voting in the comments! Take a couple of minutes and really listen so you can vote accordingly. And please, post song suggestions in the form of videos so that everyone can listen and enjoy!

Steemit is about the power of free speech, unfettered engagement, and making your voices heard. This platform would be nothing without the folks that inhabit it - you beautiful people are the ones that we’re celebrating at #SteemFest, and that’s why we need to be the ones to come up with a way to show off how deep a community we have. All of us already do that every day here on Steemit, so why not do it for November’s festival?

Here’s a quick recap of our plan:

We’ll be creating one post a day where people can propose and vote for their favourite music that they want to dance to at the #SteemFest Party in Amsterdam.
You get to suggest songs in the comments. Make sure to include direct links to music tracks so we can all hear!
Vote for your favourite tracks posted by others every day! The top 5 daily choices make it into the final list.
On the last day (Day 21), we’ll create a list of finalists and have one more vote. This chart will be used as inspiration for the Steem Party DJ, helping to create the Live DJ set at the party on 12 November 2016.
