SteemFest - Conference Day 2
SteemFest happened this past week - and it was incredible!
I had such a great time these last few days meeting Steemians from all over the world and putting faces to the usernames!
The 2nd conference day on friday was held at the "secret spot", a beautiful villa with a large terrace and garden.
The sun was shining, the scenery was beautiful, and there were so many interesting Steemians around you.

Even though the location from day 1 had already been amazing, this one definitely topped it.
It was like a private villa with a huge garden in the back, which even had a large pond.
The whole scenery was absolutely beautiful and unique!
First, I attended the talk from @sterlinluxan who works for Bitcoin.com .
It was a very insightful talk and it was great getting to know Sterlin!
Since the location was so stunning, we also took the time to get some drone shots and get creative with dancing.
We had some delicious lunch on the terrace and enjoyed the warm weather.
Everyone had a great time eating, chatting and connecting.
Then, @timsaid busted out his DJI mavic drone and got some footage of all Steemians hanging out on the terrace!

In the afternoon, I attended the "fireside chat with ned" and the Hackathon results and awards (congrats to the talented winners!)
I also spent a lot of time talking to so many Steemians on the terrace - Steemit just has so many talented and interesting users and you learn something new with every conversation!
After all the presentations and talks, conference day 2 then ended with a delicious gourmet dinner at the villa.
Afterwards, we went to the "Night of Steem" - an evening filled with music, dancing and entertainment. Secret DJ and Steemit CTO @sneak even showed his skills at the turntables!
All in all it was a long but very successful and fun day at SteemFest.
