The way to the Salt Mine Wieliczka in Krakow at the Steemfest³!
Last Sunday was the closing dinner of the Steemfest³ at the big salt mine in Krakow . The location was awesome and it was very interesting to walk through the long underground tunnels and to learn more about this mine.
In this article I want to give you many impressions of the way to the salt mine.
At first we had to walk to the Qubus Hotel, where the busses were waiting to pick everyone up at 16:30 in the afternoon.
After around 30-45 minutes we arrived at the salt mine and waited at the entrance to get in. We formed some smaller groups and all groups got a personal guide for the salt mine tour.
Then a long walk with many many stairs down (I read 380 stairs, but it felt like thousand xD) started until we were 64 meters deep under the earth.
