Rep 65 Means Pack Your Bags: The Road To Lisbon.
I'm stoked!!!
Yesterday there was the SteemFest 2 announcement, one that I've been looking forward to since I heard the gist about SteemFest 1 that was held in Amsterdam.
I think Lisbon is a very cool choice and @roelandp has done a good job picking this location. It will be my first time in Lisbon and pretty much my first time outside my country. I've been unable to stay calm since the announcement was made.
Getting out of bed and straight into Steemit replying comments, it took me a while to notice that the rep 65 I was seeing was actually mine! I had finally broken 65!
And I got 14 new followers overnight! My followers are amazing, always interacting on my posts! I should do exclusive giveaways soon. Exclusive to my amazing followers!
I'm an overnight success!!!
Well, maybe not. Lol.
As I was reveling in this new-found success, it hit me! Like a play straight out of a movie scene - "Pack your bags, you're going to Lisbon!"
Oh really? Can I say no? Do I even have a say in this?
The chance to get to meet these amazing people called Steemians is one I can't just pass up on and so I'll just have to do all I can to make it possible.
@stellabelle will be there and I really can't wait to see her! I really can't wait to see many people! I'm so excited typing this that it might end up being the worst post I've put out in terms of structure and coherence.
So how do I make it to Lisbon in 5 months?
Luckily for me, I already started the #ten000hours challenge a day before so Lisbon just gives me a reason to keep at it.
I'll be working my socks off for a chance to be with y'all because the truth is, it's more than worth it!
I'll need to put away $20 every day as savings towards the trip. (That's some crazy hard work!)
And then I'll try to keep my excitement in check so I can have enough for the event itself!
All liquid rewards from this post will be going into my savings for SteemFest 2!

@infovore tried to make it as a speaker last year and had difficulty with the Visa. You may need to work with @roelandp and get on top of that, because it could easily scupper your plan as well.
Yes @infovore's VISA was a PITA. Don't get me wrong we did everything we could but I feel it is generally very difficult from african countries / Nigeria. There seem to be a generic way that Schengen countries by default just cancel all requests. Last year was way to late to go into the next phase (re-applying or better said appeal to the judgement).
Yeah. I'll start making the arrangements as early as possible. Last minute arrangements would most definitely not cut it. I'll get in touch with @roelandp as things continue to unfold.
