Day four of our holiday has been, without a doubt, the best day yet. By now, we’re in a comfortable routine—everyone’s settled into the flow of things, and time seems to be flying by as we make the most of every moment together. This trip is everything we hoped for and more, offering plenty of quality time with the kids and giving us the chance to create memories that we’ll treasure for years to come.

As has become tradition, we kicked off the day with another visit to the splash park, which has quickly become the kids’ favorite place. There’s something magical about seeing them laugh, run around, and get as wet and wild as they please. Watching their faces light up as they zoom down water slides and splash through fountains reminds us just how special this time away is—free from the distractions of everyday life, focused solely on fun and family. The splash park has truly been the highlight of the trip for them, and it’s easy to see why. Their pure joy is infectious, and we find ourselves getting swept up in the excitement alongside them.

After drying off and grabbing a quick bite to eat, we headed out for another big adventure: the circus. The kids were absolutely thrilled, and honestly, so were we. There’s something timeless about the circus—the combination of bright colors, lively music, and jaw-dropping performances never fails to captivate both young and old. We were thoroughly entertained by the clowns, whose antics had us all in stitches, and the trapeze artists left us holding our breath with their daring acrobatics. The jugglers and stilt walkers added to the magic, making the entire experience one to remember. The kids were wide-eyed the whole time, completely absorbed in the spectacle, and it was one of those moments where time seemed to stand still—just us, together, caught up in the magic of it all.

The day wasn’t over yet, though. After the circus, we treated ourselves to a lovely meal—some much-needed fuel for the evening ahead. We knew the kids were getting tired, but we couldn’t resist one last bit of fun: a trip to the late-night theme park. Usually, the park closes at 6 p.m., but tonight they kept it open until 9 p.m., and we weren’t about to pass up the chance for more rides and thrills. There’s something special about theme parks at night—the lights, the music, the slightly cooler air. Everything feels a little more magical after dark. The kids, running mostly on adrenaline by this point, bounced from one ride to the next, determined to make the most of every last second. Their energy amazed us, considering how packed the day had been.

By the time we made it back to the lodge, they were well and truly exhausted—running on fumes, as they say. It didn’t take long to get them settled into bed, and though we know tomorrow will likely bring another early wake-up call, we’re all resting easy knowing we had a day filled with laughter, adventure, and unforgettable moments. Day four will be hard to top, but there’s still plenty of holiday fun ahead of us. Here’s to more memories, more laughs, and more time spent with the ones we love most.
