Joking aside, I think you underestimate the importance of this competition, not by chance called European, in which one's ideas and views are promoted, constant propaganda flows at political, cultural, social, state and any level.
But you are right that one should not pollute one's mind and ears with such garbage, one should not even think about it, of course, because it is a waste of time.

Oh, there's some great music around the pond. For frogs commercial music is the counter revolution of good taste. Ponds music sounds quite different from Abba and disco style.
