It's always good to play games "off line" 😜
The only trustworthy rivals in games are "family", or "computer" both in offline mode, away from internet 😆
A lot of games have "shipping options" which allows for playing of the game offline and without any additional stuff running other than the game. It is usually in the same folder as the online version, another big *.exe file of 20 to a 100 gigabytes
