Weekly Contest || Creating Short Story Week #22~cute little puppy

As I was walking home, I saw a cute little puppy on roadside, at that moment he was injured maybe due to an accident. He was helpless at that moment, I was not able to see him like that so I carried him in my arms and brought him to my home, I helped him to recover, My mother was also happy by my decision of taking that puppy to home.

He recoved very soon and In some days, he started walking and playing with me, I loved his company a lot and I named him tuffy. Tuffy was very naughty and active puppy.

One day, I went to a walk along with tuffy and while walking I saw a poster of a lost dog. When I went closer to the poster, I saw the picture of tuffy, that poster was placed on the wall by the real owner of tuffy. I was very upset after seeing the poster but still I placed a call on the number which was given on the poster and told the owner of tuffy that tuffy is safe and he can take him from my residence. Next day the owner came at our home and thanked me for taking care of tuffy. I was very upset at that moment because I loved tuffy very much but still I took that step by keeping my emotions aside because I wanted tuffy to be with his real owner. It took me a while to forget tuffy but still I remember him and I love him as much as I used to love him when he was with me.
