Thoughts of a wanderer
Sometimes life feels strange. There are many situations where I feel neither sad nor happy. Everything is going well, but something seems wrong. I wake up every day and do my own thing, talk, smile - everything is going well, yet there is a kind of emptiness inside. I don't know if it is fatigue, or a kind of boredom. It could also be because I am following the same routine every day.
I am trying to fulfill my dreams, I am slowly moving forward towards my goals - yet somewhere, my mind wants to stop for a while, to take a breath. A little peace, a little rest. But again, I am afraid - if I stop, I may not be able to start again. The conflict may be here. The body is tired, but the mind also has strength. And the body and mind are not able to move forward as one. I know what to do, yet I can't do it - somewhere an invisible hand is blocking me, not allowing me to do my own work.
In this world of competition, with time, everyone else is moving forward - some are reaching their dreams, some are clinging to their dreams - and I feel like I am standing in the same place, with the same thoughts. It's as if I'm stuck at a crossroads in life, this is an unknown road, but I can't go back. The hardest thing is that I know everything. I feel like I know what I have to do, how to do it, how to start, everything seems clear to me. Yet, I feel like I'm waiting for something.
Waiting for a moment that will pull me through. And in this waiting, time passes day by day. Then the question arises - why is this happening? Am I tired? Or have I lost interest in myself? Or do I still have a desire, but I don't know how to awaken it? So many questions come to mind, but I can't reach any conclusion. Sometimes I feel like this is a lesson in life - a time when everything stops, as if the world is taking a breath before something new begins and I'm taking a break.
But I'm not supposed to rest during this time. There are still many responsibilities in life waiting for me. Maybe this was also necessary - to understand myself, to find the meaning of my silence. But I don't know if this silence really has any meaning. And even in all this confusion, it feels like it's not over. There's still something left, like the last ray of sunlight in the late afternoon. There's still a small light inside, very dim but not extinguished. That's what reminds me—one day everything will be okay again.
Sometimes it also feels like I'm looking for direction now, but I'm not lost. I'm stopping now, but this is my time to learn—how to be still, how to make friends with my silence. So maybe, it's okay to be the way I am now. Not all questions need to be answered right away. Life sometimes stops—just to give us a little time to figure out where we really want to go.
