RE: Digging into the mysteries of the world

I am reading a book that is although fictional and touches on the point of how history is tampered with. It says how scribes hold all the power.

One generation to change the text.
One generation chooses to teach that text.
The next grows and the lie becomes history.

When it comes to ancient tales, I am glass-half-full kind. I know there are lies but I know among all these lies there is always some truth.

About the mysteries of the world... I believe we don't know even a fraction of what's out there, what's in here, and what's within us. I agree, if we had known everything, life would have been so pointless.

Sometimes I trust mythology more than history books, lol. Because every fairy tale has its reasonable explanation in the end, while when you twist facts from history, sometimes the meaning is missing. But what is true and what is not, perhaps it is this conundrum that makes the world a more interesting place for some people. And also that we probably really don't know anything about the world's mysteries, we don't even know ourselves.
And finally, everyone chooses for himself what to believe, what to know, and what not.😊

everyone chooses for himself what to believe, what to know, and what not.

This.
