With Summer slowly coming to an end its time to fire up some new Autoflowers, recently i brought a new light and have some seeds i have never grown before to try.

My last light i had for 3 years which is probably long enough especially with the advancements in LED lights.

Germination

First i put the seeds in a glass of water for 24 hours to soften them up, from there they go into a paper towel which goes inside a zip lock bag. Into the Hot water cupboard which is warm/dry & dark, it normally takes a day for the seed to crack and the tap-root appear.

From there they get put into jiffy pods and under the light, these below are 24 hours into that process with the last one coming up right bottom.

Pot's & Soil

These are called Air pots and they have holes all around them, they actually air prune the roots which is supposed to help the plant in general

Here is an organic soil mixture which is $27 NZD for 40 liters, its light fluffy and has perlite plus some other good stuff for growth.

These will be ready in 12 weeks and i plan to do weekly updates to show progress
