When I originally started with Steemit, I was invited by a Friend and did not really do an introduction?

A Really Bad Day ( 1980- 08- 17)Pt 1
So Dad phones me on the 15th ,” When are you bringing My Grandkids to Church?” Answer “ See you on Sunday, Dad!”
On the 16th, early morning, get a Call ,about a new band looking for a Bass-Player ( normally the Best Looking person in a Band.) No awards for guessing what instrument I am most attached to?
So that afternoon , meet up with the Guys, at a Friend’s Rehearsal Studio, tell me they have Big Corporate Backing and will be South Africa’s new Super Group! I am getting very excited about this, we jam a few numbers and hear, “ We have found our Bassist, in my mind I picture, Fame, Fortune, World Domination etc. You might Gather from this that I still think I am destined for all these things ?, and modesty is not one of my Vices.
That evening I get a call from Peter P. a good friend of mine, and like me a keen Motorcycle enthusiast. “The Italian Motorcycle Cub is going on a Breakfast Run to Sun City tomorrow and my wife , Gayle won’t go unless your wife Chris comes with?”

Weigh up the odds, let Dad down, or go with Peter on a Fun Ride?, not too difficult a decision, but a very fateful one in retrospect! Phone Mother-in-Law and ask her to come spend the Day with Her Grandchildren, which she is quite willing to do.She will be coming with her Ford Escort 1300 as her Broom Flying Licence has recently been revoked!
So, early Sunday Morning , Chris and I get on the Highly Modified Kawasaki 900 I own and head for Fourways where the Breakfast Run normally starts.
