What is a daughter? A daughter is an unfortunate child whose birth is mourned, and who is considered a burden for her parents. From the beginning, a daughter starts to bear the punishment of being a girl. Being a girl is turned into her greatest sin.

Slowly, some daughters learn to endure the injustices, while some parents start to accept them. But the punishment does not end there. In this world, a mother tries to teach her daughter all the household chores and courtesy, making her a servant to elders at a very young age. Little girls, at the age of 8 or 10, start learning how to host guests and cook. They are still young and cannot learn perfectly, but in the name of becoming a knowledgeable and wise mother, the mother herself strangles the childhood of her innocent daughter.

"Sit with your legs straight."
"Don't play outside."
"Why do you go outside?"
"You are a girl."
"You should know how to do household chores."
"To be called a complete girl, you should know sewing, cooking, and cleaning."

Are you serious? How ridiculous it is...how foolish it is that to prove her gender, that girl has to struggle so much at a young age. Don't educate the girl too much; her mind will go up to the 7th sky. Scold the girl for every small or big thing, and the girl should listen silently to the elders because she is a girl and should be well-mannered.

All these things are very foolish. We live in a society where such customs prevail. Even if someone is a little liberal for his daughter, he still cannot give her all the rights she deserves as a daughter. Eventually, the time comes for the girl to get married. As soon as she turns 20, parents worry that her marriageable age might pass, and they teach her all kinds of unnecessary tasks that are not essential for a good life. The more skills a daughter has, the more successful her mother is considered.
