I loved Steemmonsters. But due to the economic situation, I have not been able to invest in cards. I do have about 15 cards that I won at Giveaways.
I read your post and I would love to participate in the games. But I have to buy food, it's a priority. But when I have the stability I will enter the game.

Among the tokens, I like the most, are the BEER, PAL and I wanted PLNK but I still don't have any

Actually I've created it already 3 months ago when steem-engine was quite new. It is a kind of STO. There is a underlying steem account @happyvoter. This account is just there to sell upvotes and get curation rewards. If people buy a token they actually help to increase the SP of the account and to increase the potential income. So every token holder is part owner of the account. If you own more than 2% of the tokens in circulation you get systematically upvotes to all your posts ;-)
You can buy and sell these tokens on steem-engine. There is even a buy back programm so that every week the account buys back a certain amount of tokens to create a liquid market. At the moment I'm just updating it. Thats why there is no sales price. It will be there in an hour.
It makes a ROI of about 18% in steem. It's a kind of investment vehicle.

And is it very laborious to do that work? I mean to link as STO token with a Steemit account and also serve to give upvotes? Surely it is necessary to program some software in some difficult language...

Actually it doesn't take that much time. I make one update a week and use beta.steemvoter to give the upvotes. I've some spreadsheets that are doing the maths for me ;-). So it's about 10 minutes work a week.
