Maybe you have heard, or maybe not but yesterday we got our first scam trending post. Some guy writing big numbers and promises. I guess when people promise to make you rich 99% fall for the trap. Fortunately our community was quick to respond and found out it's just another scam.
As you know I'm not a fan of flagging posts, but I think this is one of those rare occasions where it is mandatory to put your flag on his post? Why? Not because steemians are so righteous, but because this dude is taking money away from the rewards pool, money that should be distributed among real steemians. So go ahead, and flag the scammer! You will thank me later.

Great reaction from the community. I hardly ever flag. The only other time I used my flagging powers was when someone blatantly copied my post to the letter and posted it as his own. Turns out, he did this more often with other posts. Once I pointed this out, many Steemians came in to flag this guy to oblivion. I'm really happy Steemians react and come together this way!

I saw this yesterday and thought it might be fishy due to the lack of any details of this so called "game". Thanks for letting us know what happened.
Scammers should be kicked out of this community.
An almost impossible task, but hey that's why we have the flagging option. Don't hesitate to use it, even if your vote counts very little.

Btw these "flags" you speak of... a lot of people may not actually see them when we don't access Steem through Steemit.com. Downvotes would be the more inclusive term to use.
