RE: Dire request - Please just send 0.3 one time - no higher no lower your not going to trick the bot your just going to screw the voting calculations up
No friend, I have been wondering the same thing. Aparently though the pending rewards will pool up until they fix it or so thats what peoplesay
This happens often. Last time it took 3 days, and than it took 5 days to get back up to date, since they can only process 1 transaction per block (3 seconds). But yes, so far, they've always solved it.
The bizarre thing is that they send all the transactions individually, which costs a lot of bandwith (thus trx to buy the necessary bandwith) AND takes longer, than if they would just add all outstanding trx rewards in 1 transaction...
hello, this is not exactly correct. Im from tron originally, they can process 2k / second. the problem is the way it's setup I think, is that they have like a program runing that sends a message to another program which sends the tron to match the sp payouts as they happen. Tron isnt really linked to steem, in a way the two blockchains can interact with one another directly, they have to use scripts that act as a bridge to send off chain data to one another.
i think the problem is either they have forgotten to top off the payout wallet so it has no money to send out.
or 2 that bridge system has some type of glitch. but lets hope we get the payouts, cause the trx payouts are a big deal for me. as I used my tron savings to power up this account and my main one. so those payouts were kind of nice to pay them back over time.
Yes, I'm aware that trx can process lots of transactions per second. However it's my experience that when this kind of backlog for the rewards earned through steemit is payed out, it happens at 1 transaction per block.
I'm not aware of how the tron blockchain works, but a limit of 1 transaction per block per account intuitively would make sense, since otherwise, I could in theory make multiple transactions, exceeding the value of my account in 1 block (not saying this is necessarily the case though)
yea im not trying to knock you theres a million different chains and they all have different features so you would need to be a the smartest person on the earth to know each one. But the way the tron network works is they can do thousands of transactions per second. For instance one of the biggest dapps on tron is a site wink.org they have like a casino and stuff and they send out dividends based on tokens. they have probably 1 million token holders and they pay all of them every day. and there are 3 different tokens that pay dividends on that site so thats potentially 3million transactions at once.
I think alot of times people say things and what not , but 1 per second would be extremly low and i think even would be impossible at one point cause once u get to 2 per second your going to start having a huge backlog.
another example. they do airdrops on tron every now and then when the chain brings ina new major token. for instance bit torrent token did airdrops to every single tron holder all at once. thats millions and millions of transactions at one time.
Hi,
Thanks for the info, it might be possible that the tron network can indeed handle more than 1 transaction from an account per block.
Since this morning the rewards earned on the steemit network are being payed out, and you can track them here:
https://tronscan.org/#/address/TQhZ7W1RudxFdzJMw6FvMnujPxrS6sFfmj/transfers
As you can see: nicely 1 transaction per 3 seconds, sometimes even a block get's skipped.
Might simply be that the software or bot or whatever which is used to handle the payouts coming from the steem network is simply inefficient,...
=) who knows all i care about is that we get our trx =)
