How To Steemit 101: Is Investing On Steem Really Matters To Steemit And It's Culture?

Hi steemit friends, the purpose of this post is to answer common questions newbies always ask. They've ask a lot, like in discord's channel or commenting in authors page. So, I will try my best to answer it as I personally interpret it. All opinions of other authors are welcome to comment down below.

In my last topic, 'How To Steemit 101: "How To Steemit 101: 'How Steemit Calculate Pay-Outs'; A Big Question On Rewards System!" Whales or those who has 70+ reputation and thousands-to-millions of Steem Power, encourage us minnows/planktons to contribute back to #steemit by investing steem (the main currency of #steemit). Previous post explains that SBD is just a token for steemit that can be converted to primary currency which is again #steem.

Before Bitcoin was a craze, there was Microsoft, Google, Coca-cola and everything that was tangible in money to invest with. If you were one who believed Alibaba, you'll be one of the core partners of Jack Ma. Well, did you know that it's never to late to invest in #steemit?

Steemit is not an OVERNIGHT SUCCESS, it doesn't guarantee you but if you do it right, invest back to the platform and yes you will reap good harvest here. Just like other authors who started from nothing to ahem, I shall say wealthy. How did they do that? Is there a game to play inside #steemit? Maybe because he or she influence a lot and has thousands of followers? Might be true or might not.

Success has a lot of meaning from people who experienced it. Would you like to be success here in #steemit? Aside from writing good posts. Sharing thoughts and insights. Making your audience happy and laugh with you. The crucial is have you invest back to #steemit?

From my previous post that talks about "how pay-out works". I clearly emphasize that investing back to #steemit and increase "Steem Power" is beneficial.

Again, the more SP you have, the higher your "reputation" and "value" for each upvote. It increases your strength in voting and the amount of halving curation you earn each pay day (on the 7th).

Although, #steemit community and it's platform is still on the verge of development by maximizing the potential and current trend of cryptocurrency and blockchain in the system, it utilizes one essential and functional factor, COMMUNITY. Authors are here to empower both financial and social aspect and wouldn't be lovely if we too engage such wonderful society?

In return, the higher your investment, the more value your account could be. This might not be possible as of now but as you starting to earn, we humbly ask you to invest back in #steem.

So, example, you upvoted a post. Then you have more Steem Power (I use this calculator for simulation) the higher the rewards at stake after 7 days incubation and #steem fluctuation we're paid. Ex. A post estimated upvote value reach $1000. The breakdown would be like as follows 75/25;

*$250 is being paid to curators (who upvoted your posts)
*$750 is being paid to the author (who published the posts)
PS. reminded you that the value depends on how #steem goes. It may vary on some point but eventually still money (buwahahaha so don't complicate to much OK?! :P)

And so, I'm not pointing that from the start you convert your own pocket money to #steemit and purchase #steem. However, we encourage everyone here (who is starting) that invest some of your earnings to #steem and push it to "Steem Power".
