The search for thousand years old mosque

Recently an old mosque dating back thousands of years ago was found in Dubai. Three buildings, including the ancient mosque, were found near the Sheikh Khalifa Mosque in the Al Qaeda area. They are thought to be built from 9th to 10th centuries. One of the buildings in this building is the mosque. Archaeologists have said that this mosque was built during Abbasid Khilafat. The evidence for the subject was also found in the radiocarbon test.

Archaeologists say that the mosque was built only when Islam came to Saudi Arabia from Saudi Arabia at the beginning of Islam. The mosque is a thousand years old.

In the United Arab Emirates, so many old mosques were not found. Due to this, it is the oldest mosque found in the region so far, according to Dubai authorities.

Archaeologists from Abu Dhabi's Culture and Tourism Department are conducting the investigation. Chairman of the company Mohammad Khalifa Al Mubarak said that the findings of the mosque prove that the region is rich in history. Islam's roots in this region are very deep, he commented.

The small mosque is made of clay bricks. There are mihrabs in the mosque (place of standing of the imam facing towards Mecca). Apart from this, there are arrangements for mosques like the present time to pray inside and outside.
