Steem Dollars worth over $7.00!?
Currently Steem Dollars are worth over $7 according to coinmarket.com
Do people not understand that the point of a Steem Dollar is to be worth about $1.00 in STEEM?
Now maybe there is some confusion, and newbies might be thinking that SBD is the main currency for Steemit, but if you compare the value of Steem Power (which is limited), and compared to unlimited SBD which will always stabilize at $1.00 USD then you will see that STEEM is way more valuable than SBD..
So maybe we are seeing a preview of the true value of STEEM!
Only time will tell let me know what you think.

In theory, yes.
Eventually your SBD should stabalize at $1.00 each, which means it will never gain a profit, but STEEM however could go to $10, $100, even $1000 or higher.. but Steem Dollars will always be only $1 each (or at least should).

The supply is way too low, it's lower than steem supply itself.
It's going to take some time depending on how it is distributed, or a change in the code.
