Steem Dollar Update!!
Currently the Steem Dollar (SBD) is $12.27 according to coinmarketcap.com
Now if you take a look at the last month..
On November 17th the Steem Dollar was worth .99 cents which makes sense considering it is always supposed to equal approx $1.00 in STEEM.
However if you take a look at the chart here:
It seems we have been on a steady rise for over a month..
Conclusion
Now I am not sure if this trend can continue, and especially since the Steem Dollar is supposed to equal $1.00 or at least be very close to it (and has been), but currently with SBD over $12 that means all of the payouts on Steemit are worth over 12x as much!
Now that is only the SBD your paid which is technically less than half of the shown dollar amount, and only if you have "Default (50%/50%)" Rewards selected.
Either way these are exciting times, and as I mentioned yesterday in my post Facebook user growth vs. Steemit user growth we are reaching new highs over Daily User Activitym and also are over half a million users on Steemit now!

People have said that right now there are bigger issues for Steemit than a shortage of SBD, but if it is supposed to equal $1.00 then technically they can print more Steem Dollars because it is unlimited.. But STEEM on the other hand they cannot make more of, and there is NO TELLING what the price of that will be in 1 year.
