This is one of the finest posts on Steemit thus far. Really illuminating read. I'd love to sit down with many of the above, particularly Stephen Fry and VSR. For me, off the top of my head, it would be -

Tycho Brahe (Seriously, coolest human to have ever lived)
Rudel of Blaye
Stanley Kubrick
Richard Feynman
Michael Palin

This could be hundreds and thousands, really.
