We originally had 10 people that were going to join us that we knew of...Well, as it turns out the only two people who showed up were @erin-michiels and @captainobviou3.

Sorry to hear that more people weren't able to show up. We had a very similar problem with Bitcoin meetups here in Tucson. One time it was just me and the founder of the Meetup. Now there is a new Meetup here in Tucson for Bitcoin but I didn't even join it. I know that sounds kind of weird but it seemed like pulling teeth to get people together and I didn't feel like I had time for it. If I was in San Diego I would have totally went to you meetup though!
I am not tripping. I expected a low turnout on this first one. I talked to a couple guys that said the same thing happened to them on the first meetup. I think the next one will be at the Torrey Pines glider port. We can catch the sunset and if no one shows up I will just fly around the whole time.😜

Just to give you a heads up Robert............... I've decided to sell all the PG gear. A few reasons really:
I thought also while the glider was serviced back in June and was certified until June 2019, I reckoned that I might get a decent return on my purchase price. As it's well over 10 years old. it'll probably only saleable as 'Ground Handling Only' in a couple of years.
I've got listing on ebay currently and one bid at the moment.

Maybe one day I can return with full commitment. I believe UK now has fully deregulated sub 70kg trike paramotoring so that could be one option to return to at a later stage (no additional training or licensing required). I think a lot of pilots have been doing it anyway and 'they' can't be bother to 'police' it lol.
Nice price for the old glider :) For 'kite only' in UK, you'd be lucky to get 100quid on ebay :)
