Steem Map: Development Road #3 [Videoblog]
Hello Steemit,

TO-DO Checklist
Python server connect to SteemData and location retrieval (done)Python server connect to Geopy and get free/unlimited realtime user coordinates(done)Javascript-Python API between webclient and python backend (done)Map population (done)- Radius Filtering (ongoing)
- Multiple markers addition (tbd)
- Web release (tbd)
- Additional Feature: find Steemians per cities. You can plan ahead meetups before travelling or just contact spontaneously other users as you travel. Thanks @igster for the idea. (tbd)
- Search functionality improvement: in order to increase the range of the user location search (many users do not have account location), the server will find locations in the presentation posts using specific keywords. Special thanks to @gargon who had this great idea. (tbd)
- Additional Feature #2: Main map will display by default community event markers such as Steemfest or Custom Meetups. Integrating event-text-descriptions into geopoints. Possibility to choose different Markers styles. Creation of unique Steemit markers. (Thanks to @reggaemuffin for Tips & Ideas) (tbd)
