The Steem Decathlon is including first week of both the SteemFanNation NFL tourneys
Team Eliminator & All Games PICK' EM...

This is the Team Eliminator Tourney.

For those who have never player an eliminator tourney, it's one of the easiest to participate in.

Essentially you pick the winner of a single game each week.
You choose the game and team.
The only rule is once you chose a team, you can not use it in later weeks, thus the term eliminator.

You can only make 1 pick per week.

There are three prize pools a weekly, a half season, and full season one.

How the The weekly Prize Pool works:
The players who make a correct pick will split part of the reward pool for this tourney.
The breakdown will be first by team pick then by players that made the pick.

example:
So if 10 people chose say the redskins, 1 person chose the Jets
and the Jets and Redskins both won
If the prize pool was 10 steem
then anyone picking
the Redskins would get .5 steem
and the person who picked the Jets would win 5 steem.
This is an incentive to pick not perfect teams.

How the half season prize pool works:

Each correct Answer is worth a point,
There will be weeks were additional options for points or requirements are needed.

After week 9 the Prize pool will be distributed between the top 20% of participants (by total points).
Tie breaking will be determined by the average power rankings of your picked teams in reserve order.
This is to encourage picking teams of less quality to win more!
Distribution will be first second third honary mention, participation breakdown will be edited over the next few weeks.

How the season prize pool works:

At week 18 the Prize pool will be distributed between the top 10% of participants.
Tie breaking will be determined by the average power rankings of your picked teams in reserve order.
Distribution will be first (50%), second(25%), third(15%), honary mention broken evenly to remaining people in top 10% (10%)

Every participant must complete all the tasks in this list for their entry to be valid.
If you violate any of the instructions in this list your entry will not be valid.
You can only have 1 entry.
If you won a prize in the last time you played in the Steem Decathlon you are required to power up AT LEAST 40% of the rewarded Steem. Please note you just are not required to keep re powering it up. You are doing this to build the community and build the Prize Pools. Considering all winners will be doing the same the Prize Pools will increase dramatically over time.

11) I will announce the winners a few days after it is over in a post with the words [RESULT] infront of the title. The reward pool distribution will come out shortly after 7 days when the upvote rewards on this post are sent to me.

12) One new rule anyone getting less than 50% right in the CONTEST will get participation points and contest points for the overall leaderboard, but can not win a reward for that event. Monies will be used to promote future events. /p>

14. The entries will be excepted only till kickoff monday night.
