Video of My Presentation at the Steem Creators Conference + Q&A
It was such an honor to be asked to speak at the Steem Creators Conference in Las Vegas - hosted by the @steemcafe crew. Grab your cup of coffee and settle in because you are in for a 26 minute video! My presentation was a little under 20 minutes and then there were about 6-7 minutes of Q&A at the end.
Many of you have been asking to see a video of my presentation - so I wanted to get it up first thing after the conference!
My Slidedeck
In the video, you can't always see my powerpoint slides very well - so I have included images of them below. You will notice that i'm not much of a "pack information into a slide" kind of person, and instead use slides as a visual tool to create a certain feel or emphasize a point. For those who are curious - I used Canva.com as a design tool to create these slides.
Thank you for watching!
I sincerely appreciate anyone who takes the time to watch my presentation. Towards the end of my talk, I challenged people to find their "Close their eyes and hit submit" moment that really pushes them out of their comfort zone. I want to extend the same challenge to anyone who is watching this video after the event. The moments that I have seen the most growth on Steemit, is when I have taken a risk and tried something that scared me.
Think of what that could look like for you and then start working on it. If nothing comes to mind for you in terms of content creation - think about your personal life. What scares you? Do something that makes you face that fear a little bit. Once you start bucking your comfort zone in one area of your life - it has a tendency to bleed into all areas. You may be surprised how facing your fears in one area can still have a positive impact on your content creation.
I am beyond appreciative for you all and for supporting me on my Steemit journey. I hope that you found something in this presentation that adds value to your Steemit experience. I'd love to hear what stood out to you in the speech and if there is anything you are planning to implement in your own content.
Much Love,
Lea

Incredible presentation @coruscate :) You are so impressive. You have mastered this platform in less than a year and it’s a thrill to watch. I actually learned a lot of new things watching this. You break the mold of what a content creator should be because you are unpigeonholable. I’m glad we met!
“Unpigeonholable” hahah I love that!!
Thanks for always cheering me on and I’m STOKED to hear that someone of your experience on the platform was still able to take some things away from my presentation. 😊
I wish I could've been there, God I love Vegas and all of the electricity it brings. You are bringing so much to this platform that has been desperately needed, cheers to you and your sister and make sure you party your ass off while you are there.
You rocked this! I learned so much and will try some of your tips in my next vlogs! Thank you.
Thanks for all of your encouragement! Seriously, I could see you nodding your head and getting pumped while I was on stage and it actually really helped me while I was up there talking. I’m so glad we got to meet and I wish we could have had more time to hangout and chat! 😊
You're too sweet. Trust me, I wish I had more time to hang out also. Next time for sure!
Looks like a wonderful and enriching time in Vegas! Slides are quite lovely and well done :) All the best!
Thank you so much for the comment on my slide deck! I definitely spent a lot of time putting it together, so that means a lot to me. :-)
We really had an incredible time in Vegas and I miss everyone already. Who knows, maybe you can join us next year!
Great presentation!
You make a very self confident impression, great job on talking.
As well I liked the content and the advices for everyone.
This presentation definitely can be a good motivator for everyone to create content on steemit.
Well done! :)
